The shoulder plane

I had fun making this shoulder plane video, I used curly maple and air dried black walnut, I’m not a metal worker, but i had a go at making the blade in a home made forge, it turned out great and I saved a bundle on this much needed tool,

Nice video, making one of those has been on my list for awhile, although I “cheated” and
just bought a blade.. Seeing you finish yours makes me want to get started on mine.

This might be an interesting blog but there is no picture or descriptive text.

I am not going to look at the video.

If you add a picture and a bit of text, you will likely get more views of your video.

Making the blade was a lot more work than I realized, unless you have the metal working tools, so don’t feel like your cheating, we’re woodworkers, lol
