Still in the planning stages.

The start I’ve made is purchasing a miter saw and a cordless drill, a lot more work to do.

Hi James,

Keep us posted on your workshop progress. You are in the fun stage right now- planning and tool buying.

Enjoy yourself.

Congrats—we all start somewhere. I used to do the “honey-do” projects around the house with just a powered hand saw and some other things . . . I made a lot of speaker boxes and other things with simple tools. Read a lot and decide what works based on your budget and what others have tried. I’m really digging my “new” Shopsmith. I have to think a bit on planning how things get done, but it’s great to have so many different tools at my disposal.
