Today I purchased the Vega Pro 50 fence system. I had some Amazon Points saved up and decided this was the first major upgrade I wanted to do in regards to the workshop. I did a lot of research and reading on different fence options. This fit the budget and did not require much tweaking for install. I was looking at the VSC fence and making the rails but I just didn’t want to fuss with all that. I am more focused on building a safe and functional table saw workstation with ample capacity, dead on accuracy and a decent out feed area. I plan to add in a router setup into a custom made right extension wing. Dust collection is also going to be a nice feature. I am in the early stages of planning. I have seen many great designs and will most likely take a little from each. I will definitely have to be conscious of space since I have a compact workspace. I will be posting up pictures and a series of posts about the build. I am new to the forum so hopefully it all turns out. Any input on design is welcomed and appreciated. Hopefully it all goes well and soon I have a more usable and safe table saw!
