Last week I had surgery where they put a Internal Cardiac Defibrillator (ICD) into me. So I have been resting due to Doctor’s/wife’s orders and not by choice. However today I went into my shop and started a small project. I call it the Mini Miner and It’s a Mining dump truck done with 2” wheels and would fit with any Hotwheels or Matchbox set near scale. Also when I was resting I designed a 1/2” scale 4 axle flat bed trailer and a 4 axle Peterbuilt tractor carrying a 25” (50’) wide load boat the whole set should come out to 42” long.

Rest is part of recovery, and I wish you the best following your surgery. I also find some shop time to be good therapy so glad you were feeling up to working on your project (which looks really nice!)

I can relate to the need to get back into the shop, but take it easy at first. The wife knows best and maybe even the doctor too. You did a fantastic job on those tires.

GR8HUNTER I bought this nice medical chair so I could work while seated at my own pace. This way it’s relaxing not stressful at all and allows me to be active and not stuck on my recliner playing on my computer. My small shop also has a small heater and air conditioner so I’m comfortable year round here in Arizona. The thing is we need to not only keep our minds busy but also our hands working on our creativity and working out problems actively to recover quickly both mentally and physically. In other words keep yourself busy and good luck!
