Miter saw not cutting straight back? - 10 replies

Hello everyone I have a Bosch gcm12SD. When I go to making a 90 degree sliding cut, I always feel resistance near the end as I push the blade back. Kickback - Tell me what I can do to prevent this in the future - 60 replies

Last night I was on my last set of things to rip. I was ripping 2×12 x 5.5” long pieces and I remember thinking, this is slightly unsafe. But I had my pushstick and started to push things through. Somewhere in between the small piece of wood got stuck between the fence and sawblade and came flying back. Suddenly I felt it hit my ch...

Trash can collection - 32 replies

Hi guys. Been a while anddd slowly moving along with my dust collection. I’m wondering if I need to make an “exhaust” in my garbage can. Right now the setup is piping into my dust collector into my garbage can. The way I see it, the DC is sucking in a lot of air and dumping it into the garbage can, where does that air go? Its just dumping ...

Dust Collection Layout - Need Assistance - 36 replies

So, I need to know peoples opinions on whether I should go with one route, or split off my circuit into a T early on. First off, I have a 3 HP PM 075 going through 8” ducting and splitting off into 6” then down to 4” at the machine. The drawing is not to scale and the 90 degrees aren’t as sharp as you will see in the a...

Powermatic 15HH Snipe on both ends - 20 replies

Hello everyone, My planer was working just fine until today when I put a piece of board through it and receive snipe on both ends. Laguna 1412 fence not square - 3 replies

I have a laguna 1412 fence which came with the bandsaw. The bottom part of the fence is square so i get the right cuts. However the top part of the fence is not square and angled slightly away from the blade. When i resaw wood, the bottom is the width I need but it slowly flares out so the bottom of my board will be 1” and the top 1.1&...
