« Part 4: In the details Part 5 of Willy’s jeep series Part 6: It’s not the top, but I finally made progress. »

Ok, this is why it takes me so long to build these things. I am constantly fudging around and I am afraid to clue anything.

Because my best efforts to make the system hardware out of wood completely failed, I settled on other options.

I am concerned I am getting too many textures and the hardware is over sized.

After some toying, I see I am not likely going to be able to combine stowing and mounting. So, I am going to have to make it mount in the back.
Any thoughts would be welcomed.

I ran into a bit of an issue with the dashboard. The glass scraped the sides and now there’s dirt behind the glass. Crap.

Your going in directions I’ve never even thought about, but looks like fun and will be way cool when done.

Looks great. The tiny details add a lot to the authenticity.

Nice job.

Note that making a pattern for the cover may assist in completing that task.

My custom dinghy cover topic shows using clear plastic to make a pattern.

Have your say...
