Bookcase first time with shellac

Parlor bookcase. Beetlekill pine and red oak plywood. Four coats of shellac today. First time shellacking. Watched about 4 hours of YouTube videos on it. Seems to be coming along nicely. My plan is to let it cure and harden and then lightly sand with 1500 grit. Then apply a wax of some sort. I have paste wax and I have feed and wax. And then buff that out. I’m just practicing learning the fine art of applying shellac. I used a brown china ox brush and applied light long strokes with the grain of the wood. To be continued…

Here’s after 2 coats of shellac, checking it out in the house with some books on it looks
