Vintage Breast Drill ID - 3 replies

I just ran across this old drill that I’ve had for many years. I thnk it’s a Metabo as it’s made in Germany but doesn’t have any other markings I can see other than E 185-2. I bought this saw today on a local buy and sell group. It’s a Byrnes model maker saw. I paid $150 USD for it and it’s like brand new! Came with an extra carbide blade and fence extension. Mystery Jointer part/accessory - 2 replies

I bought a 6” General International jointer 10 years or so back. This item came with it. There’s no reference to it in the manual. It’s sat on a shelf for a long time. Foolish question perhaps, but does anyone know what it’s for?
