Osage Orange glue? - 8 replies

I just recently acquired a large quantity of Osage Orange. It is very hard, very dense and very oily! Has anyone found a glue that will work on this type of wood? If so what process do you use to clean the oil off before gluing? Thanks!

Steaming?? - 5 replies

I make a Heart shaped box for a candy company and currently band saw the shape to size add a bottom and top and call it good. But it is very time consuming and slow not to mention hard to keep 100% uniform.
