I've been woodworking for about a year. It's something I've always had an interest in but until my wife and I bought our first home together I never had the room for a work space. Now my workshop is in the portion of our basement that is unfinished. Outside of that I work from home as an IT nerd.

Welcome to LJ, IT nerd...

Keep us informed as you basement transmorphs into your woodworking nirvana… while you still can, suggest some “before photos” (if only for the archives) and keep updating your “workshop” slot…

Thank you, sir. I actually have some early photos as well as more recent ones. In looking back at some of those earlier ones it’s crazy how clean that area used to be…whereas now it looks like barely organized chaos.

Zounds like your morphing into a real woodworker… Soon your Boolean will transcode into sawdust!
Just remember your heritage when you reach for the backspace on your tablesaw…

LOL. Definitely times I wish I could Ctrl + Z in the shop!
