« Part 3: Completing My Workbench with Storage Drawers Part 4 of My Woodworking Journey series Part 5: Veritas Medium Router Plane - My First Premium Tool »

Throwback to September 2018, when I made my first table after enrolling in Steve Ramsey’s The Weekend Woodworker course. There are 101 flaws with this table, but I remember feeling good at the moment.

I made something, instead of consuming something. That meant a lot.

I have since recycled this table into a cyclone dust collector cart, but I did use it for over a year. My daughter did her artwork on it when she was 7 and got paint all over it. I cherish those memories and perhaps they will be ingrained in the wood.

Hah!, I made the same table and felt really good about it. Later made the garden bench followed by the BMW (Basic Mobile Workbench). Steve provided a great start down this woodworking rabbit hole. Sadly I will soon be dismantling the BMW bench to make room for a new one that I am finishing. I hope you are enjoying woodworking as much as I am. Thank you for posting and yes, it brings back memories.

Unfortunately, I never did any of the other projects from Steve as I got distracted by woodturning.
