I've been butchering wood for 35+ years now. I'm getting better at it with fewer mistakes. Lately I've been working at getting my workshop easier to use by adding a dust collector. A bench for my new Rikon lathe is on my project list. I think I'm going to need another lifetime to get it all done. That's what having fun is all about.

We welcome you to the one and only LumberJocks. We hope that you enjoy your stay/visit each and every time you show up on our door step. If you should need any woodworking question answered, don’t hesitate to ask. Somebody’s gonna have a good answer for you.

Thanks everybody for the greetings and woodworking help offers. I haven’t had time to update my blog, etc. yet with other fall season things going on (e.g. racking leaves, trimming trees, closing the yard up for winter). I’m sure I’ll have questions. The forum has been helpful already with a decision about a small lathe purchase. I have a Rikon mini on order. It’s been many years since I’ve done any turning so I expect I’ll have questions in the future.

Well, another year has rolled by. It must have been a really fun year because it seems like yesterday when I congratulated you on being a LJ for 2 years. Congratulations on your 3rd anniversary at Lumber Jocks. Thanks for helping make LJ a great place to visit and happy anniversary!
