Eric,Eric,Eric, No, No, No, you got it all wrong bud. Where is all the boxes stacked every where. Why my God man you can see your floor, and "ALL" of your tools and equiptment. This just isn't a proper work shop, just ask my ex. She has been gone now for 6 months and I still can't find the T.S. much less anything else. L.O.L. I guess I could try it your way. Who knows maybe I can complete a project instead of wondering where it went. Can I come over and use your shop L.O.L.

Haha. Actually, these pics were taken after I just cleaned shop. Before, you couldn't see any of the workbench or anti-fatigue mat below. All covered in shavings and sawdust. I doubt it will stay clean for more than a few days.

Since you brought it up, I have to sort of stare in amazement that you put a WW-II on a BTS-10S…

You certainly got a blade you can grow into!

Yeah, I can't wait to get rid of the bts-10s, the blade made a huge difference though. Its also much much quieter.

Eric, I have to agree with Jim. This is an A1 shop and is a nice area in which to work. It looks like you have organized it well. And I like the way you have used pegboard in your shop. (I should since I did the same thing in mine). It is both an economical wall covering and it helps to store and organize hand tools.

Good job on putting a Forrest blade on your saw. I am sure it improved its performance. You have a nice set of tools to work with and it looks like you have plenty of room to maneuver between the different tool stations.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed seeing your shop.

Thanks for the comments and compliments everyone.

Scott, in case you are wondering, I decided to only pegboard the top half of the walls because I decided I probably wouldn't be hanging stuff low in the shop since tools would be taking up that space, plus it was a lot cheaper for hardboard than pegboard.

The only regret I have when I finished the garage, which can be remedied later, is installing two extra 20A circuits on the wall with the workbench. It would have been much easier to wire when the garage was unfinished last summer (and only had a single 60W bulb in center). All my power tools tend to sit on the other side of the room (further away from neighbor) which has no outlets so its all extension cords across the floor…hopefully in the spring I'll add more outlets to that wall.

The makita 18v's are amazing. You can see my old Black and Decker 12v next to the makitas. That thing sucked, battery didn't last long, it was bulky, and couldn't drill through tough woods. The makita's are powerful, tiny, and I love the light at the bit too. Well worth the investment.

I also own Ryobi BT Table saw but your table bed looks better I think. Is it made of cast iron? Mine is made of aluminum and the miter slot is not parallel to the blade. Since the motor traunion is attached to the table bed (table top) there not much I can do to adjust it.

I believe mine is aluminum too. The miter slots do seem parallel though. What model do you have? This is a BTS10S

Nice shop, it looks exactly like mine did when I was starting out. I've never tried a lathe though.
