« Part 4: Rule number (not sure anymore) - Garage floors are not flat. Part 5 of Garage Overhaul series no next part

To finish my work table, I begin my usual routine by taking stuff out of the garage into the carport. First I take the table saw off the stand, put it on the floor, pick up the stand put the stand outside, pick up the saw and put it on the stand. After that I looked at my skeleton of a table on wheels, back to the table saw, back and forth a few times, and decided that a rolling table saw/work bench is in order.

(I did not know that this was going to complicated it quite a bit. So I will not bore with details but I did finish the mobile/modular/table saw/work table.)

It has 2×4s all the way around the outside of the table top just for clamps.
The fence has full movement to both the left and right AND I can take the fence off if needed.
The bottom shelf holds the cross cut sled nicely. (my wife’s suggestion).
There is a little cubby-hole for my fence and some push sticks to the right of the table saw.

I am happy. (and yes I did the Dilbert dance in celebration)

That looks great! Perfect place for the cross cut sled. Your wife is in the zone!
