Since I don’t have a ton of available time each day I spend about 90 minutes in the mornings to woodwork so every time I update the days you can see my progress

Day 1: I lay out my pattern on the basswood and using carbon paper trace the image onto the wood, then I break the outside edges of the pattern so as that I can stop carve the outside of the image eventually raising the pattern . Here is the image at two end of day 1
