Mitre Saw Station #2: The Drawers

This is the first drawers that I’ve ever made and I used pocket joinery and a dado to sit the drawer base in the sides.

The drawers are made of 3/4” poplar plywood and have dimensions of 32” wide, 22” deep and 5 1/2” high.. I also put a poplar false front on the drawer to match the face frame..

I also added 22” full extended drawer slides that can hold 150 lb weight..

It’s s very simply joinery and it should be strong enough to fold what we I put into it.

Nice! Those will come in handy. Just leaving the bottoms open for storage of larger items?
