So it’s time to Finnish off the last two panels … The back and the left side….

That completes the cooler part of the unit and I have to say it looks awesome the pics don’t do it justice.. These last 2 panels were constructed in the same way as the front and right side panel using the Kreg K4 to drill pocket holes and there all held together with the 1 1/4” self tapping screws…

I have to admit this design I made took a lot of screws I think if I would make another one I would come up with a method that didn’t require so much screws but in saying that it’s very sturdy ….

NEXT : I will be putting a mitred 45° boards on top of the frame for two reason to hide all the joinery visible at the
Top.. And to give it that finished lip that the cooler lid will be sitting on.. I will be using 2.5” wide cedar for this…
I just hope that it comes out the way I want
