Workbench #4: The Top (OSB)

I used 1/2” OSB as the workbench top substrate it was cheap and east to use. I screwed it into the frame amd left it at that..I will be putting a 3/4” MDF work surface as the final top but before I do that I need to figure out how to cut face trim and mitre cut them to form an outside angle to finish…but that comes later.. see the OSB below…not pretty but Im never going to see it again..

on a funny note my son thinks that I need to paint the whole board blue because it looks cool..he saw when I put the board ontop of the frame that the perimeter edge of the board had blue colorong on …

The bench looks really sturdy and very well put togeather. I am sure you will find plenty of uses for it. Also like the size.
