« Part 7: Adding a plywood plate to attach My router table Part 8 of Router Cabinet Redo series Part 9: Drawers & Hardware »

When I realized that the casters were not clearing the cabinet I had to add more depth to the base by gluing and screwing for pieces of plywood into the corners where the caster are being placed ..

All that was left was for pre drilling the holes for the bolts used to secure the casters and add washers and nuts..

What I was not happy about was that when drilling the holes I neglected to add a piece of wood to the base to keep tearout to a minimum .. but since I didn’t the tearout was bad.. but my saving grace is that my cabinet doors will hide it…
