I have been allocated 1 of our 3 car garage spaces by my boss Diane. Lol it’s a bit oversized as I built a dividing wall and cheated into the two car a bit. Boss never noticed! It’s about 13×26’. Crowded but efficient, sorta. I have a folding drafting table added to my table saw out feed which serves as a work table also and folds down out of the way. The band saw, planer and drill press tables can all be set at the same height which enables me to easily resale long pieces. It is air conditioned and has a HEPA filtration on both the air conditioner and the separate air filtering unit. I use a clothing storage unit as a paint booth. I made my variable speed buffer. I made a drill press based adjustable thickness sander with auto feed for wood smaller than 6” wide and 3” thick. (Used to sand exotic woods down to .110” thick for guitar sides. Guitars are my main focus along with laser etched/cut things.

Your shop is just about the same size as mine. I have used this space for thirty years and have been happy working there. It is not the size nor location of a workspace but the desire to go there and do something. Welcome to LJ’s and be sure to post pics of your work. I have gotten lots of good ideas and information from this site over the years.

Very nice work Eldan! You should post some of your builds up in the “Projects” forum.
