New Fence for an old bandsaw
I restored an old bandsaw a while back. I have been using it in the shop for curve-cutting in wood and aluminum sheet. But lately I ran into a few projects that would have benefited from an accurate fence on the bandsaw. A few years ago I picked this up at a garage sale: You can see the mounting brackets in the picture on the front of the box. They just didn’t work very well. I also had a problem with the bandsaw table itself. The part was sand-cast and had ‘draft’ on the edges of the table to allow the form to be removed from the sand.
