« Part 11: Fenders again Part 12 of Army truck series Part 13: Wheels »

This is a serie about making a army truck the same as GR8hunter did. The sequence of photos will be gronological, with doeing this I hope to make my working method more clear. This means that the order is not corresponding the drawing chapters.

Comments are welcome!

If you want to make this Army truck by yourself plans are available at: https://dutchypatterns.com/pattern/army-truck/

I have come to the conclusion that it is the type of wood that determines whether it will work

I must say I love a great wheel HOW2 and this is one for sure!!!

I love the look of the ebonizing it make a dark tire but shows the wood grain in most cases But I would like to note being water based it raises the grain so keep this in mind.
For Dutchy’s great tires a quick sanding will fix it but for the treaded wheels it can be a pain.

I NEVER sand my tyres after ebonizing. Try a hard brush #4 and you will be supriced. Ready in seconds.
