My workshop consists of two 16 foot straight walls and two 20 foot walls that are slightly atilt due to hurricane Charlie. The myriad lizards/skinks/NEWTs (namesake) that share my space seem to feel right at home amongst the tools, sawdust and encroaching tropical foliage. Our cat JoJo loves the sustainable resource he has discovered in newt tail. (Many of our residents have tails in various stages of regrowth)

Anyway, I primarily do small woodstuffs; keychains, boxes, furniture, etc.

My website has more info and pictures.

Looks like a very capabile shop and it has handplanes in it. Some folks around here might tell you that I like hand planes. I have no idea where they got that impression. Welcome again to LJ.

I see some items on you shelves with the word TOP. I can’t figure out what they could be. Probably something silly.

Against political and social correctness, I still smoke tobacco. But I’ll be damned if I’ll pay $3.00 a pack. Hence the Top cans. People do a double-take when I light up though. I wonder why…

Hi Dustynewt,

I finally got around to reviewing your shop post. It looks like you have a nice set of tools and plenty of visitors to keep you company while you work.

Thanks for the post.
