Hi Dusty! I just saw your post about a Stanley Bailey #4 hand plane and was wondering if you ever got any info on it. There is one available here locally. I tried Patrick's Blood and Gore, could not find reference to the Bailey. Great pic of rusty old trucks in your avatar, by the way!

Dusty - I had plans to make the table but I stumbled onto this one in an antique shop in Atlanta. It was made by D.R. Dimes who really has the art of finishing tiger maple down well. Thanks for the compliment.

Thank you for your kind words 'bout my project Dusty. You have some purdy wood in here youself mister. I noticed some of the wood I use isn't even listed in the tags. I get lost on this site so easy, I came here to tell you that you can "borrow" anything from my "projects" page you want. That's what I thought it was there for. Sharing. Hope y'all are staying warm and making all the sawdust you want up there.

    Hi Dusty,

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, but I had a busy summer and your email got lost in the shuffle. Thank you for comments about my work and shop. Obviously, I am a member of lumberjocks, but I've been so busy lately with adding onto my shop that I haven't had a lot of time to spend on here. Once, I get things more organized in my shop and business, I plan to make some postings.

You have some really nice lamination work. I'm planning on taking what I've learned with making duck calls into jewelry boxes. Have you made anything like that before?
