Hey everyone! I love shop tours and I have found them to be one of the most interesting things on Lumberjocks. I have decided that it’s time that I made one of my own now that the final changes are complete. Enjoy!
Entering the shop:
To the left is my bandsaw table and pegboard wall
Right beside the bench is the drill press. Behind it is my shop apron and the TV
Here is my dust collection system. It is a 1 1/2 horsepower General International dust collector hooked up to a trash can separator. The dust collector never moves. I move the trash can to each machine.
At the back of the shop is my planer table
To the right is the Craftex half-blind dovetail jig and the clamp rack
Beside the planer table is the sanding station. It is a Craftex 12 inch disc sander and a Mastercraft oscilating spindle sander.
Now to the other side of the shop. Here is a workbench with scrap bins underneath. On the bench is the router table and the scroll saw
In the far corner is the finishing supply shelf
Now on to the beast of the shop, the lathe!
Well there it is. I have been using it for two years now and have made several changes since then. Everything is now in it’s final place. Thanks for stopping by!

Great tour. Nice setup and a very workable shop.

Thanks for the shop tour, It is always interesting to tour someone else’s shop and to see how and where I could improve on my own shop!

The table saw is behind the curtain. It’s on a mobile base so I can move it into my area when I need it. I found that it really frees up floor space.
