I built my “dream shop” in 2009, and it is a delight to work in. 1200 SF with 11 foot ceilings. Radiant floor heating and dust collection ducts installed below the slab on construction. 600 SF in attic space for a craft room.

Great shop. Its the only one I’ve ever seen with a grand piano as a work surface!

Well, I count four pianos in that picture. My shop is a woodshop with a focus on piano rebuilding and restoration. The piano in the foreground went out to a customer this afternoon … making some room for the next in line. There are too many pianos in the shop right now. The ideal number is ONE, and the pic has three too many … forcing the bandsaw, planer, and thickness sander out of the picture.

Great space! Grand piano’s and you’ve still got room! I have an upright stored in my shop and could use the room.
