I'm a retired history professor with a life long interest but very little practice in woodworking. I'm setting up a workshop in my garage and look forward to some small projects including wood turning. I've been too busy in my working life to make much time for hobbies like this, and now I'm going to enjoy some free time to make some sawdust fly and see what I can do.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless

Another year has rolled by. We must be having too much fun, cause it seems like just yesterday when I congratulated you on 1 year. Congratulations on your 2nd anniversary at Lumber Jocks. Thanks for helping make LJ a great place to visit and happy anniversary!
