All hand tools is quite possible. While you are unlikely to talk to them here online, the Amish here in the United States still work almost exclusively with hand tools.

Dennis—- Welcome! My grandfather (born in Horsens) never used a power tool in his entire life, but used hand tools to make some very functional furniture (as well as a peg-leg for himself). I wish my uncle had kept some of them!

Dennis, I have always had a great deal of respect for woodworkers who followed traditional practices in making furniture. This is one area that I have sadly neglected to develop and admire those who have taken the time and put in the effort to hone their hand skills.
I am looking forward to seeing pictures of your shop when you get the opportunity to post them.

Dennis, we each got to do it our way. I will spend a lot of time…........just fixing up the shop….......so I can fix up the shop better. But I enjoy it. And I might make a real project someday….....won’t that be something! Got home late today, very busy at work yesterday and today. Tomorrow, hopefully about a half day off. We’ll see. This next week will be very busy with work, then I am off to Hawaii for two weeks….........I will need it. I will think about LJ’s as I am walking down the beach, for at least a few seconds each day. If we have internet in our condo….....I’ll send you pictures of my sun tan (-:
Later….......
