Remembering back when I joined Lumberjocks it brought out a lot of passion in me it was almost like a fever and to those that are addicted to Lumberjocks can understand what I mean about the woodworking fever. So when I say the woodworkers on this site really did inspire me to write this book it really is a true statement. Back when I joined Lumberjocks a little over five years ago there were only about 4,500 woodworkers now there are over 77 thousand which is pretty impressive to see so many different woodworkers with the same passion.

Five years ago I designed the very first box for my book and I never thought the day would come that I would be able to say, “It is finally here” I have for a very long time lived and breathed for woodworking and now that I can add a book to my resume it is very exciting. I wanted to be able to share with all of you here on Lumberjocks my excitement. The publisher sent me a link to share a sneak peek inside the book. There are about 20 random pages for you to see. I hope you enjoy looking through them. Thank you for all your support through the years.

Congratulations Dennis. I fully understand the addiction to LJ’s that you describe and the way that this relationship among woodworkers of all levels truly spurs us all to do better.
For me personally you have been my number one inspiration here and your book will become one of my most prized possessions. I’m not gushing here , it’s all true.

Thank you for all the inspiration and now for this book.
