« Part 5: Small Carving Details Part 6 of Grapes & Vines, Carving & Marquetry series no next part

I finally finished building the Hallway Table Base. The center section of the base has a loose joint, in order to fit into the elevator. Next I’ll be making the top which will have Marquetry Veneer of grapes & vines and an assortment of fruit, which can be really fun working with all the different colors of veneers. Thank you for looking.

Very cool as always. Just out of curiosity – how many total hours will be in this project when done? I’m also curious what you’d charge for such craftsmanship, but that would just be rude!

What words can I say? Other than what others have already said, or what I’ve said in the past of your work. I don’t know any other craftsman at your level Dennis, you’re truly given the gift by God in your hands. The only thing I could offer to this is I could make you a stone top for this.
By the way, I just got some Iranian pink onyx, extremely rare in the US as we have no trade with Iran and it’s the only place it comes from. I know you’d appreciate it’s beauty. My best to you and Patti.

Dennis: Do you go home at night and collapse. Or, is you mind going wild about all of the possibilities.

That is some insane detail work!
Not my style but one has to admit that you did some outstanding work on the hallway table!
