Here is a mock up of a Hallway table that is going to New York. I just got the customer’s approval to go forward. Now on to the real table, it will be made out of Genuine Mahogany and the top will have many types of veneers for the grape theme Marquetry. Thank you for looking!!!

Dennis,
You always take the simple jobs don’t you? You should try something complicated for a change!
Obviously kidding – you do amazing work and really enjoy when you share this stuff. It’s fun to see it all come together. You have a great vision for this stuff.
Keep sharing!

You had to make a model of clay to show the customer??? Your past work kinda shows that doing grapes or ANYTHING is within your talent to do. It’s going to be an astounding table in the end, I have no doubt.

I don’t know that I will attempt something this complicated, but seeing how you approach and execute such projects is implicated, but see so instructive. Thanks for sharing your skills and knowledge with us.

Absolutely phenomenal work, as always Dennis. I pray for just a portion of your patience. One day I’ll stop by your place. We’ll schedule it, sometime after covid. :)

That’s beautiful work. I wish that I had known about the clay mockup technique before I did some of my carvings. It would have made it much easier.
