I’m currently working in a 12×12 shed that I share with the lawn equipment. There’s a built in workbench, but I use it mostly for assembly and drying. I recently comleted my first “real” workbench, and it has really been an improvement.
I also do some metal work and have a small propane forge that I built. I will be building a rolling “Dutch” style tool chest and a hanging saw till to clean up the continuing tool storage issues in the near future.

I’m planning to put a metal working area beside my shop soon.
Nice little forge.

Thanks for the comments. It took a while to find a drill press that was complete and not too expensive. It took a lot of cleaning and a little electrolysis bath to get it in working order. I’ve only gotten to use the forge a few times since I built it, but it works ok. If you can afford a commercial one, that saves a lot of research and experiment time. They can be fun to build, but thats forging and woodworking time you’re spending on building it.
