Location: Bellingham, Washington, US

I live in Bellingham, Washington and teach at the local university. I began woodworking after I started teaching, in part to make repairs and renovations on our house but I suspect it was really to work off some of the stress of my job. I began by using power tools but then discovered how much fun it is to work with sharp, well-adjusted hand tools. I sometimes find myself in the shop planing wood just for fun.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
