Today I stopped into an antique store that I’ve driven by several times. I looked around they had some tools (plane a couple levels and a couple squares), but nothing that matched the cash on hand or was worth the price.

I was almost out the door, but took a last look in a display case. In it I spotted this little gem

A Stanley, stamped H101P on the side. So a happy day for me

Thumbs up, seems like I should have kept a lot of things that I didn’t.

A 2011 post, resurrected! Wonder how the Handyman plane is doing today, more than eight years later?

Smitty, I keep it sharp and use it fairly often. It’s pretty handy for gently knocking off a sharp corner of a project or tuning a small piece.

Hey, Cool! Thx for the update! I have one just like it, still on it’s original sale card. Glad yours is seeing use.
