Started wood working after retirement. Because the type of furniture usually includes carving, I joined a carving group. Pearl River Woodcarvers Guild. Check us out. My shop is still under construction, I guess a shop is like a house. Continuous project--modify--add to--improve--rearrange--etc..

Thanks for the warm welcome. After I retired I found I needed something to do. So I am trying to set up a small shop. (12×32) This looks like the place I have been looking for, how to and creativity. I’ve got to take some project pictures so I can post them. updating soon.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the sight can get addictive.

God Bless

Hey Chips, thanks for making me your buddy and I have done the same with you. I was curious and went in to see your projects, most of which I have somehow missed. You make a lot of great stuff! I liked all of it! The work you are doing on those canes for vets is very worthwhile and I’m sure much appreciated by the recipients. Keep up the good work.
