Question on Delta 6" Jointer DJ-15 Hardware - 9 replies

I recently picked up a DJ-15 and it is missing a few socket head cap screws, e.g. M6, M8, M10 in various lengths and quantities. I am on ebay selecting some of the screws based off the parts list, but was wondering a couple things….First, does it matter if I get the 912 DIN standard or just any old ones will do? And second, the parts list...

Anyhow, I have a ton of cherry to sand and I am a little worried about burning issues if this thing pops a breaker. As such, I have been thinking that the Sand...

I have two Cherry Crotches and would like Ideas - 16 replies

I felled a very large diseased Cherry tree that split into four trunks and ended up with two crotches I’d like to do something with. Need to find Riving Knife options for older Unisaw - 26 replies

Just bought a used Unisaw and it predates the RK features. I did some searching on this forum and others as to what my options are as far as add-on Riving Knives, but the articles seemed a little stale. Just curious what others here believe to be the safest and/or the most practical solution to adding a riving knife(not a splitter). I have found...

I am going to pick up a used Unisaw(with Unifence and router extension with router!!) very soon, that looks to be about 16 years old(2000), perhaps only used for 12 years as I don’t think the year stamp reflects when it was first purchased. I was wondering if the motor was too o...
