I build and install custom garage doors for a living. Recently got my general contractors license and working on becoming self employed. I build furniture, cabinets, remodel homes, and anything people will pay for.

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best to only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.

Please enjoy your membership.

Michael, welcome to lumber jocks, why did you put a man door in design if you weren’t going to use it?
was it a thought that just didn’t work out?

The fake man door is part of the design the architect wanted. The whole house has tons of details like that.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
