« Part 3: I made it to Reno......and Beyond! Part 4 of Behind the scenes of my shop and YouTube channel series Part 5: The Wood Whisperer and MORE!! Need your help!!! »

This is really turning out to be the trip of a lifetime! I interviewed Zac Higgins in Carson City and Ray Mowder in Sacramento. Both of them are great guys and I had a lot of fun meeting with them! Then I drove further into northern California and interviewed the great sculptor Michael Cooper!

It so happens that David Marks lives just a few miles from Michael and I got to spent an entire day with him!

Then, the icing on the cake was that Peter Brown also lives in the area and I got to meet him, too! The afternoon with Peter was a blast! I tell more about all this in my latest update video:

Whoa Dude. Great presence! Good information. Attempted to watch when you put it up , but my computer would not connect to YouTube!

Watching first thing today.

Since I am not too up on current folks, save David Marks, it might be a good idea in your video pre interview to give a history and specifics to these folks current influence?

Might help us less informed to open new horizons?

Be safe, have fun, and produce some great content,

Thanks Tom,

My opinion is that Michael Cooper is one of the best artist/craftsmen of our time, and that he is a national treasure!

Peter Brown is very popular on YouTube for his “crazy creations”, Zac Higgins makes custom pen blanks for woodturners and his channel is called NV Woodwerks, Ray Mowder has a YouTube channel called TabLeft and he has some really clever ideas!

Of course, Andy Klein is the guy who designed the saw blade for very quickly making plywood boxes, he designed the 4-way parallel clamps, and he also designed the quick acting twin screw vise.

Matthew Morris has a YouTube channel called MM Wood Studio and he also does on line classes for Popular Woodworking.

Braxton Wirthlin is a fun and very clever guy. He has a fairly new YouTube channel, but he is coming on strong.

Hope this helps,
