Always wanted a dedicated chamfer plane, but surely not going to get a stanley or a ridiculously price one for
something you dont used often. So i had this old smoother in need of a new sole ,the plane you put away
and never use, the one that you will re-sole when the time is right.

That said, i mark 2 45% on the bottom to make a perfect 90%, cut trimmed, cleaned and waxed,
And now i have dedicated chamfer plane!!!

Its working really well for me, much better then a wobbly block plane, and once you set the iron to
the correct depth all chamfers will be the same!!!

Better than getting out the router loading the bit setting the depth,”With the dedicated plane just do it”
