Hello LBJ friend, well I just spent the week moving from a really cramped 24’ X 24’ shop to a 32’ X 28’ shop building. I ended up moving every piece by my self, we had so much rain I could not get any one to help. I did the lay out so that all the tools would have at least 9’ of in-feed and out-feed space. Like my joiner, miter saw, router table and planer. I increased the size of my assembly table from a 3’ X 3’ to a 4’ X 5’,this will make building my cedar chest much nicer. Hope you all enjoy, now it’s time to make some saw dust.

Welcome to LJs! An insane place to feed your psychosis!!!

Anyplace to make sawdust is a great place! I used to work out of my apartment & an even smaller “Cute Ute” SUV.

ark,

Repeat after me: Craigslist is my friend! Craigslist is my friend! Craigslist is my friend!
I’ve been veeeeery successful in furnishing my shop via CL. I check CL probably 5 to 10 times a DAY. A good deal won’t last long & a great deal is gone in a heartbeat!!!

I wish you good luck and great timing in your adventure. Please remember to post pictures of your tool/machine acquisitions.

30×60 is a very large shop. It will take quite a lot of equipment to fill that much room up. Congratulations. We would love to see some pictures when you get it all set up.
