Me = Techno junkie that likes making things with my hands, even If I am the worlds biggest tight wad klutz. Started woodworking in shop class in jr. high school many years ago. Designed and built custom speakers for home and professional PA use during my engineering college years. Spent much of my working career miniaturizing the electronics/semiconductor industries. Tend to gravitate towards doing more woodworking when ever I am between jobs or have a lack of money and extra time on my hands. My long past woodworking has been mostly finish carpentry, non-descript speaker boxes, veneer bookcases, and melamine garage cabinets. Got more serious about using real wood and trying craftsmen level woodworking about 2007. I would rather be designing or building something than posting on forums about it. Have a been a lurker on LJ, SMC, and WN for many years out of necessity to learn how to be more efficient and competent woodworker. After having several people urge me to start selling my handicrafts, decided it was time to join LJ forum to give back and post some of my projects for a broader opinion on my latest efforts.

Now it's time to get back to workshop and play with some hardwood lumber.

Thanks for reading;

-- I'm an engineer not a woodworker, but I can randomly find useful tools and furniture inside a pile of lumber!
