Southern White Punky Ash production was so out of sorts for the last 9 months of 2019 that our inventory was hand-to-mouth. We had a lot of back-ordered shipments and some (justifiably) angry customers

Finally, we’re almost back to normal so we did a short YouTube video for two reasons:

1) Evidence that we are now sending out those backorders
2) To light-heartedly apologize for our tardiness.

Don’t expect to learn anything wood-wise with this one but if you want to see our humiliating public apology....here it is on YouTube

I don’t know what to think about your posts, are you using this site to promote your lumber business? if so it could be considered spam

I see your point.

From my perspective, I’ve been in the wood business my entire working life and do some amateur woodworking at home. It’s what I blog about, write about, and occasionally do YouTube videos about.

I try to be selective about what I post on LJ (and where).

You’ll never see a direct solicitation for business. Also, you’ll never see me posting pitches or anything like that in other member’s threads.

Ideally, if I have a video that has wood information that may be of interest to woodworkers, I’ll add it to my blog here. Members can check it out or pass it by.

In this case, I just thought it was funny so added it to my blog.

I’ve been on LJ for years and I don’t believe I’ve ever worked with another member and that’s a-OK with me. I enjoy seeing what people are doing out there and being part of the community.

There are not a lot of places to post wood-related content online so this is why I post here.

If things get to sales-y feel free to chime in and let me know. I’d rather post things that people are interested in. It’s harder to do than it sounds!
