I have inherited some of my father-in-laws tools and have a Delta Mortising attachment. I do not have the correct size chisels to match to the Delta set. Need help finding the correct size equipmen (chisels) How do I size the attachment set and where are good places to look for the correct mortising bit and chisel?

I could be wrong but all of them I have ever seen were the same size for the holder for the chisel. 3/4 shank and then the size of the mortise cutter. They are pretty cheap at Harbor Freight and Grizzly. I don’t know about the Delta specifically.

You did not mention the age of the mortising attachment. If it is fairly new, you can get all the information
you need at the Delta-Porter Cable web site, if it is older, try Old Woodworking Machines.
Most sets are fairly standard, but you will need a drill press to connect the attachment to.
