I came up with this idea to use my cedar wood to make a desk. I am planning to make the legs, frame, and drawer fronts of cedar logs, and the paneling of cherry that is slightly scorched.Does anyone have any more ideas to add to it?

I have some wood available that is unique, rare, and beautiful. Saguaro. It is easy to work with, and is incredibly strong. It is easy to finish, but experimentation is required to find the right color. For example, the strip that looks green was dyed with General Finishes blue Dye Stain. The results are worth it. If you would like some more information on where to obtain some send me a message
