no previous part Part 1 of The beginning... series no next part

Recently I was checking out Craigslist and I’m always looking for tablesaws. Usually hoping for that once in a lifetime deal on a nice cabinet saw. But I came across an old craftsman that had a few extras that caught my eye. I already have an old craftsman that I inherited from my dad, so I wasn’t really interested in the saw, but it came with: a biesemeyer fence, a hitachi TR12 router, incra jig ultra (not the LS), a speed controller for the router, and a shop fox mobile base. All for $500. And then while picking up the saw, I also bought a craftsman 6 inch jointer for $125.

There was a little rust on the top, but I was able to clean that up easily. I’m looking forward to getting it tuned up and cutting some wood.

My shop is still a work in progress, the building is mostly finished, just need to finish up some tape and mud, and get the outside painted. My first big project is too build some cabinets to start getting things organized in order to make room for the rest of my tools being stored out in the barn.

Till next time, keep making progress.
