Thank you all for the welcome! I did a search on the inner-tubes for a problem I was having and this site was one of the top results. I am an utter NooB at woodworking, I love looking at the images and reading about how it’s done. As time goes on, I hope I’ll be able to contribute.

Yeah eBay really gets you almost no savings because everyone thinks their crap is made of gold. I find I am better off on CL where you might get some young person who inherited a bunch of grandpa’s old tools and just wants them out of the house. Or I usually do pretty well at used tool stores, where the owners generally know what things are worth, what the markdown on used should be, and are usually pretty decent guys. I have gotten friendly with my local guy which has been helpful. I got first crack at a 23G headless pinner the other day for $37 bucks (same pinner 99 at Home Depot).
