Winter is coming so I decided to make a bird feeder. I took pine wood waste and got to work. The whole was supposed to resemble Japanese lanterns. I think it didn’t go so bad. The bird feeder smeared with wood stain and secured with wood oil. The whole came out larger than I thought but it is a plus.

See how to do it

I am waiting for a comments! Show your feeders if you have :)

Beautiful design and build! I just showed this to my wife who also like it very much. She is currently suffering from a bad back and after seeing this she is feeling very guilty because she can’t get out to feed the birds right now and I can’t help her either having just gotten out of hospital myself. I keep promising her to build a feeder, but so far haven’t done so. When I do, I hope it will be as nice as yours.
