Recommended Motor HP for Resawing on a 12" Bandsaw? - 6 replies

Just asking what HP would be good for use on a 12” Delta/Grizzly modified bandsaw? OEM is 1/3 and gets pretty bogged down…new Grizzly saws get a 2HP. Is anything less too much of a compromise?
