First recess turning - 6 replies

I’ve been turning since last Thanksgiving, and finally decided to try using a recess cut and internal jaws to turn a NE bowl. Significant pucker factor, but I am pleased with the result. This was an oak tree outside my brewery that was damaged by a recent storm.
