Hi all, so I’m not new to woodworking but am new to logging, lol. My problem is I recently came across a few hard maple and cheery logs so I purchased a logosol portable mill jig that fits on your chain saw and it seems to work good but now I just had someone give me 6 trees all white oak cherry and maple and I’ve anchor sealed them all but that is just way to much wood to mill with a chain saw and my concern is if they sit for a long time in log form will there be any problems later? I’ve heard you should mill your lumber quick and stack and sticker it. Any thoughts?
